The series of national standards for intelligent grading of artificial intelligence terminals has been released

2026-05-09

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Market Regulation and other departments recently jointly launched the implementation of the "Classification of Artificial Intelligence Terminal Intelligence" series of national standards. It is understood that the "Classification of Artificial Intelligence Terminal Intelligence" series of national standards adopts a "2+N" architecture. '2' refers to Part 1: Reference Framework and Part 2: General Requirements. These two standards clarify the concept, classification, and testing methods of intelligence, and are the foundation of all category standards. The hierarchical system of terminal intelligence, from L1 response level, L2 tool level, L3 auxiliary level to L4 collaborative level, the level of intelligence gradually increases, making the terminal more "smart". Among them, the L4 collaborative level will be further clarified and improved in subsequent revisions based on the level of industrial development. After research and testing analysis, the products with high user ownership rates are generally at L1 and L2 levels, and some new products can reach L3 level. N "is a specific standard for different products such as mobile phones, computers, televisions, glasses, car cabins, speakers, headphones, etc. The first batch of standards includes 7 categories, and the development of standards for other categories will be promoted in the future. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other relevant departments will ensure the implementation of standards in the "trade in" policy for consumer goods by 2026, accelerate the formation of an artificial intelligence terminal product catalog, provide guidance for public consumption decisions, expand the breadth and depth of artificial intelligence applications, and create hot consumption scenarios.
