Deploy and carry out the sixth "Civil Code Promotion Month" activity

May of this year marks the sixth "Civil Code Publicity Month." To promote the in-depth development of publicity activities for the Civ, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Justice, and the National Office for Popularizing Legal Education jointly issued the "Work Plan for the 'Civil Code Pubicity Month' in 2026" to deploy relevant work. The plan requires in-depth study, publicity, and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, the impleation of the Law on Popularization of Legal Education, and extensive publicity of the Civil Code. Centering on implementing the CPC Central Committee's decisions and plans for promoting high-quality develoe activities aim to create a favorable legal environment for achieving the economic and social development goals of the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The plan clarifies that this year's publicitties include the latest achievements in the enrichment and development of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law; the deployment requirements regarding advancing the rule of law in all respects in the Outine of the 15th Five-Year Plan; the Civil Code and the Environmental Protection Code; and laws and regulations related to optimizing the business environment, promoting the development of the private economy,construction of a unified national market, driving scientific and technological innovation, developing new quality productive forces, advancing comprehensive rural revitalization, preventing and defusing financial risks, and foreid investment. The plan proposes that during the activity period, a series of key tasks will be carried out, including the Ministry of Justice and the National Office for Popularizing Legal Educatig a national centralized demonstration activity for "Three Rural Services" (culture, science and technology, and health) and an advancement event for the "Civil Code Publicity Month" in Jianxi Province, and guiding the publication of popularization materials for the Environmental Protection Code; the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate releasing typical cases related to th Civil Code; and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, in conjunction with the Ministry of Justice, organizing the third "Legal Literacy Training Class for Private Entrepreneurs inthe New Era" and the "Legal Literacy Improvement Week" activity.
