During an interview with reporters, Zhang Jianzhong, President of the Macau Hotel and Tourism Industry Association and President of the Macau Tourism Development Think Tank, stated that the overall operation of the Macau tourism market remained stable during this year's May Day holiday, with ideal hotel occupancy rates, demonstrating the resilience and attractiveness of Macau's tourism industry. According to the analysis of tourist routes, the consumption of inbound tourists in Macau during the May Day holiday is becoming more quality-oriented and community-based. The passenger flow in Taipa Old Town, Coloane Black Sand Beach, and Macau Peninsula Old Street has significantly increased, and the overall tourism development is balanced. The number of tourists visiting Macau and Hengqin, as well as the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area with multiple stops on one trip, has increased significantly.
