During the holiday period, the highest number of mainland tourists enter and exit Hong Kong through the Lok Ma Chau branch line port (i.e. Futian Port), followed by the high-speed rail West Kowloon Station entry port. Chen Zongyi, a member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Chief Operating Officer of the Beautiful China Group, stated that Hong Kong has actively developed its event economy in recent years.
