For decades, the local area has relied on coal resources to generate electricity and refine aluminum, developing into an important aluminum industry base in northern China. However, electrolytic aluminum has huge carbon emissions and faces severe challenges under the "dual carbon" target. The integration of green electricity has turned coal-fired aluminum into "green electricity aluminum", leading this small city to usher in a systematic industrial restructuring. Entering the Huolingole High tech Industrial Development Zone, towering fans stand adjacent to the electrolytic aluminum workshop. There is a demonstration project running here that directly connects an incremental distribution network with green electricity - through an intelligent control system, the fluctuation curve of wind power is accurately matched with the stable load of electrolytic aluminum, converting unstable "green electricity" into reliable industrial electricity. The incremental distribution network is currently connected to 450000 kilowatts of new energy, with a power supply of 1.054 billion kilowatt hours by 2025, and green electricity accounting for over 65%. ”Zhao Heming, Deputy General Manager of Huolinguole Electric Power Investment Co., Ltd., introduced in front of the large screen in the command center. Some of the 'food' of these 'electricity eating maniacs' does not come from the power grid, but from wind farms tens of kilometers away - through the integrated mode of source grid load storage, green electricity is directly delivered to servers through dedicated lines. Nowadays, through collaborative innovation models such as direct supply of green electricity to data centers, green electricity is efficiently consumed on-site, converting volatile clean energy into stable and high-value computing power output. This transformation has brought about a significant value leap: if green electricity is only used for power transmission, its direct benefits are only a few cents; And when it drives computing power and outputs tokens, the value created can reach tens of times. Third jump: Hydrogen energy on the green power chain can turn "natural scenery" into "liquid fuel". The value of green electricity can also move from intangible to tangible - becoming a green liquid fuel that is easy to store and transport, and participating in global zero carbon trade. Entering the central control room of the Far East Chifeng Green Hydrogen Ammonia Project, real-time satellite cloud images, wind and solar power plant monitoring tables, and factory equipment operation diagrams are presented on the digital screen, intuitively demonstrating the system synergy of "load following source, source following load". Here, wind turbines and photovoltaic power generation are used as power sources to produce hydrogen gas through electrolysis of water. At the same time, green electricity is used to separate nitrogen gas from the air. Finally, through a dynamic ammonia synthesis process, hydrogen and nitrogen are converted into green ammonia, which realizes the on-site conversion of fluctuating green electricity into stable, high-value, and easily transportable liquid fuel. In February of this year, the world's first ship of green synthetic ammonia produced by this project was sent to South Korea, successfully opening up a zero carbon trade channel. At one point, Green Power completed a magnificent transformation from "natural scenery" to "liquid fuel". Since the beginning of the year, the value of green electricity has been accelerating at a "three-level jump". At the end of March, Inner Mongolia Datang International Hohhot Aluminum and Electricity Co., Ltd. signed a contract for the direct connection project of electrolytic aluminum green electricity. At the same time, a package of policies such as the "Implementation Plan for the Development and Construction of Green Power Direct Connection Projects for Single Power Users in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (Trial)" have been intensively introduced to systematically connect the "last mile" of on-site consumption of green power.
