China delivers humanitarian aid to Lebanon

The Chinese government delivered two batches of humanitarian aid to the Lebanese government on the 4th, to assist the Lebanese people affected by the conflict and alleviate the local humanitarian situation. On that day, the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Chen Chuandong, and the Secretary General of the Lebanese High Relief Commission, Bassam Nablesi, signed a certificate of handover for humanitarian aid provided by the Chinese government at the port of Beirut. Minister of Social Affairs Hanning Said and others attended. Chen Chuandong stated that in order to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, the Chinese government has urgently provided aid materials, which reflects the profound traditional friendship between China and Lebanon, and is also a concrete measure taken by China to promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind and implement global development initiatives. China has always firmly supported Lebanon in safeguarding national sovereignty, security, stability, and unity, and will continue to provide assistance to the best of its ability. Said and Nablesi expressed sincere gratitude to China for providing humanitarian aid, stating that China's timely assistance once again proves that China is a trustworthy friend of Lebanon.
