On April 28th, the reporter learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Data Administration recently jointly issued a notice to officially launch the 2026 "Modular Resonance" Action (hereinafter referred to as the "Action"), targeting 20 key industries in the manufacturing industry, identifying a number of key cities, exploring the output path of key technological achievements such as scenarios, models, intelligent agents, datasets, and cases, and promoting high-level empowerment of new industrialization by artificial intelligence. The notice clearly states that the action will focus on 20 industries in the manufacturing sector, including steel, industrial mother machines, automobiles, aerospace, and information and communication. With the support of key cities and provinces, efforts will be made to promote the production of a number of high-value and technically feasible artificial intelligence application scenarios, tackle a number of industry models, specialized models, and characteristic intelligent agents that contain technical mechanisms in the industrial and information fields, build a number of high-quality datasets for industry general knowledge and industry expertise, cultivate a number of related alliances, optimize talent, standards, and other industrial supporting ecosystems. By the end of 2026, a virtuous cycle of "data model scenario application" will be basically formed, promoting high-level empowerment of new industrialization by artificial intelligence. The notice deployed seven key tasks, including building industry general and specialized datasets, improving model evaluation mechanisms, creating a "modular resonance" space, building a "modular resonance" innovation consortium, and identifying a number of key cities. The notice proposes to encourage the interconnection and intercommunication of "modulus resonance" space with national data infrastructure, achieve efficient and trustworthy circulation of multi-agent data, empower model training, intelligent agent research and development, and application, and gradually build into an "intelligent agent factory". The relevant person in charge of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that the key tasks of the "Modular Resonance" action focus on the actual pain points and bottlenecks of artificial intelligence applications for planning and layout, striving to comprehensively connect the entire chain of modular integration development.
