The new measure of "buy and refund" for departure tax rebate has achieved significant results. Exit tax refund "instant purchase and refund" refers to the practice in areas where the exit tax refund policy has been implemented. Overseas travelers can apply for the same amount of tax refund in RMB at the "instant purchase and refund" store by signing an agreement and applying for credit card pre authorization when purchasing tax refund items. At present, there are over 8000 tax refund shops nationwide that provide "buy and refund" services, an increase of over 100% compared to the initial nationwide promotion of this service measure a year ago. Fan Yong, Dean of the School of Finance and Taxation at Central University of Finance and Economics, believes that the promotion and implementation of the "buy and refund" service measure for outbound tax refunds has effectively stimulated the vitality of inbound consumption and is an important achievement in China's continuous optimization of the international business environment.
