On the 14th, the Department of Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government released for the first time the "List of Hong Kong Legal Professional Service Providers Supporting 'Going Global'", covering over 70 Hong Kong legal service units, to assist mainland enterprises in accurately connecting with Hong Kong legal professional services according to their specific needs for going global services, and promote mainland enterprises to choose Hong Kong as their preferred platform for going global. It is reported that the roster includes international arbitration institutions, practicing lawyers, as well as 60 local, international, and registered law firms of different sizes. All service providers on the roster have performance in relevant professional fields related to overseas operations, and in order to facilitate accurate matching of mainland enterprises, the roster is subdivided into 12 categories based on the business expertise of legal service providers. Zhang Guojun, Deputy Secretary for Justice of the Special Administrative Region Government, stated that the national "15th Five Year Plan" clearly supports Hong Kong to leverage its professional service advantages to assist enterprises in "going global". As an international legal hub, Hong Kong will support mainland enterprises in improving risk management, enhancing international competitiveness, and achieving stability and long-term success in the international market during the process of "going global". Zhang Guojun said that in addition to listing the names and contact methods of service providers, this roster also refers to the performance or cases submitted by service providers to the Department of Justice, further listing their business expertise and professional advantages.
