In order to comprehensively deepen the rectification and governance, and purify the industry ecology, the Logistics Support Department of the Central Military Commission recently revised and issued professional ethics standards for practitioners in conjunction with the rectification of the logistics industry. From the depths of their minds, they aim to eliminate the root causes, eliminate the pernicious effects, and rectify the root causes, using lofty professional ethics to purify the corrupt practices. The revised code of professional ethics for practitioners covers 10 key industry areas, including material reserves, finance, military energy, medical and health care, transportation and delivery, military facility construction, procurement, logistics asset management and supervision, logistics scientific research, and logistics integrated development. It further clarifies the value orientation, performance standards, and behavioral boundaries of practitioners, and promotes the institutionalization, standardization, and refinement of the atmosphere construction in the logistics industry. Professional ethics are the behavioral norms, professional ethics, and value standards for industry personnel to perform their duties. Logistics work involves a wide range of industry fields, deep military civilian interactions, and multiple risks of clean governance. The moral and anti-corruption determination of practitioners directly affects the overall image of logistics and determines the direction of industry culture. The revision and promulgation of professional ethics standards is not only an important measure to comprehensively govern the military strictly and address both the symptoms and root causes, but also a powerful lever to prevent unhealthy practices from the source and build a solid ideological foundation. This revision adheres to the unity of problem oriented and goal oriented approaches, focusing on the job characteristics, responsibilities, authorities, and prone issues in key industry fields. It refines specific requirements for loyal performance, clean use of power, impartial handling of affairs, enthusiastic service, and confidentiality. Highlighting positive advocacy and clarifying value concepts; Clarify the bottom line of behavior and strengthen rigid constraints. As an important basis for the education, management, assessment, supervision, and accountability of industry personnel, the code of professional ethics is of great significance for cultivating a good political ecology in logistics with a clean and upright industry atmosphere, providing strong support for service preparation for war, and improving support efficiency. Starting from April this year, the Logistics Support Department of the Central Military Commission has taken the lead in adopting a "point to area, covering all personnel, implementing in different areas, and linking up from top to bottom" approach. Relevant business bureau leaders have been arranged to give lectures on stage, and through the video and telephone conference system, the scientific system, connotation, and practical requirements of professional ethics standards have been systematically explained, educating and guiding practitioners to implement professional ethics standards in their daily work and life, such as job performance, social interaction, family ethics, etc., vigorously creating a strong atmosphere of respecting morality, honesty, and virtue.
