The "Lanting Yaji · Longma Spirit - China Malaysia Calligraphy and Painting Art Exchange Exhibition," hosted by the Kuala Lumpur Chinese Cultural Center and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Department of Culture and Tourism, and jointly organized by the Malaysian Calligraphy and Art Association and the Asian Artists Association, opened on the 3rd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The exhibition takes the Chinese Lunar Year of the Horse and the "2026 Malaysia Tourism Year" as opportunities, using "horse" as a cultural image, gathering excellent works of artists from both countries, and showcasing diverse cultural and artistic creations. Entering the exhibition site, calligraphy works are either vigorous and vigorous, or elegant and lively, with different styles; Painting works have rich themes and exquisite concepts, each with its own characteristics. This exhibition brings together 50 artists from China and Malaysia, showcasing 63 works. Han Ning, Director of the Kuala Lumpur Chinese Cultural Center, expressed the hope that this exhibition can further stimulate exchanges and cooperation between the art circles of the two countries, promote the dissemination and innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture overseas, and inject new vitality into cultural cooperation between China and Malaysia. The President of the Malaysian Calligraphy Association, Huang Ruiqing, stated that artists have interwoven and integrated Malaysia's Nanyang ink charm with the majestic Inner Mongolian grassland culture of China through their rich works, vividly interpreting the cultural connotation of "calligraphy and painting share the same origin". The exhibited works showcase the joint praise of peace and friendship by artists from both countries. Ye Manyu, Deputy Secretary General of Inner Mongolia Calligraphers Association, has carefully created multiple works for exhibition this time. He stated that this exhibition is a vivid carrier of cultural dialogue between China and Malaysia, and also provides an opportunity for artists from both countries to deepen friendship and learn from each other. The President of the Asian Artists Association, Yu Guoqin, told reporters that with the "Lanting Yaji" as a link, the exhibition brings together the wisdom and talents of artists from both countries to jointly write a cross-border artistic chapter. I believe that close communication and cooperation can not only promote in-depth interaction between artists from both countries, but also further deepen the emotional connection between the two peoples. This exhibition will continue until early May, during which art interactive exchange activities will also be held to further promote exchanges and mutual learning between the art circles of China and Malaysia.
