The 4th "Women's New Power Forum" was held in Hong Kong on April 1st. 380 delegates from 27 countries and regions around the world gathered to explore new paths and opportunities for the development of women's affairs in the context of the new era, and work together to build a new pattern of open and win-win international cooperation. The "Women's Empowerment Forum" is hosted by the Hong Kong Federation of Women from all walks of life. The theme of this forum is "Strengthening Cooperation and Seeking Development between Chinese and Foreign Women", closely related to the overall development of the country, and committed to building a dialogue platform connecting women in China and the world. In his opening speech, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, stated that the forum provides a platform for female leaders from the international community to inspire and exchange experiences, and contribute their wisdom and strength to accelerate the comprehensive development of women. Huang Xiaowei, Vice President of the All China Women's Federation and First Secretary of the Secretariat, stated in her opening speech that this forum implements the spirit of the Global Women's Summit and discusses practical measures such as "Hua Fang Mutual Aid", "Digital Intelligence Empowerment", and "Beautiful Together", which is timely and of profound significance. Ho Chiu chiung, Chairperson of the Hong Kong Federation of Women and Chairperson of the "Women's Empowerment Forum", said that since its establishment, the forum has become one of the important platforms connecting China and the world's women's cause. This forum has specially added "Empowering with Digital Intelligence" as one of its pillar topics, hoping to gather the strength of women from China and abroad, seize the opportunities of the times, and work together to promote the development of the international women's cause. During the keynote speech and sharing session, guests from different countries and regions delivered keynote speeches on topics such as technological innovation, industrial development, and cultural exchange. Among them, freestyle skiing world champion Gu Ailing shared her experiences and reflections on her sports career and life development. She hopes to inspire the younger generation to bravely pursue their dreams and face challenges through her own growth story, demonstrating the confidence and strength of women in the new era. The forum also features multiple discussions to engage in in-depth exchanges on topics such as artificial intelligence, industrial innovation, and cultural creativity, promoting the formation of pragmatic cooperation consensus. As one of the highlights of this forum, the conference held a "Cooperation Declaration" release ceremony at the closing ceremony. Representatives of women's organizations from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and around the world joined hands to witness the cross-border declaration of women's rights, further promoting the construction of an open, inclusive, and win-win global environment for women's development. This forum has launched an online live broadcast, attracting over 1.82 million online viewers, fully demonstrating the attention paid to the forum and women's career development at home and abroad. At the same time, the "Digital Empowerment of Women and Girls Achievement Exhibition" jointly organized by the Hong Kong Women's Federation and the China Women and Children's Museum was exhibited at the forum site.
