Chinese Ambassador to Sweden, Zhou Limin, stated in his speech that although Chinese and martial arts have different ways of expression, they both carry the Chinese nation's pursuit of a one family and a unified world. He hopes that more Swedish friends can understand Chinese and Chinese culture, so that different civilizations can respect and inspire each other through exchanges and mutual learning, and jointly contribute to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. Yan Youqing, a Chinese professor at Uppsala University, introduced her over 40 years of Chinese learning experience and the development history of Chinese education in Sweden. There are martial arts clubs across the country, and many schools offer Chinese courses. Professor Wu Dong from Beijing Sport University gave a special lecture on the topic of "The Connotation of Chinese Martial Arts", elaborating on the Eastern wisdom of life contained in martial arts from the philosophical perspective of yin-yang balance. The martial arts team of Wudong also brought a wonderful exhibition of Chinese martial arts, vividly presenting the artistic beauty and spiritual connotation of Chinese martial arts through the combination of movement and stillness, and the combination of rigidity and softness, winning applause from the audience on site. Sofia, a student from Dalana University, will go to Tianjin University for a one-year Chinese language program in September. She stated that this event has allowed her to more intuitively experience the charm of Chinese language and culture, deepened her understanding of China, and increased her expectations for studying in China.
