China's brain computer interface is entering a critical development period from laboratory to industrialization and commercialization. In recent years, China's brain computer interface has achieved a series of important results in technological breakthroughs, clinical applications, and industrial exploration, and its overall development is in the forefront of the world. In terms of technological research and development, domestic universities and research institutions have continuously made breakthroughs in core components, decoding algorithms, implantable electrodes, and other technologies. The stability of multiple self-developed brain computer interface chips, implantable electrodes, and other components has been continuously improved. In terms of clinical application, Tongji Hospital has received and evaluated more than 300 patients from all over the country, and over 100 patients have completed the first batch of non-invasive brain computer interface upper limb functional rehabilitation clinical trials in China. In terms of industrialization, with the increase of policy support and the continuous maturity of technology, the industrial application of brain computer interfaces has entered the fast lane, and the number of brain computer interface enterprises has exceeded 200, showing a trend of agglomeration development. These achievements have laid a solid foundation for the industrialization of brain computer interfaces in China. At present, brain computer interfaces are at a critical juncture from laboratory exploration to industrial implementation, and it is urgent to smooth the "last mile" of brain computer interface industrialization from five dimensions: technological innovation, talent cultivation, funding guarantee, scenario application, and ethical norms. Technological innovation is the core driving force of industrialization. Brain computer interfaces cover key aspects such as materials and devices, high-end chips, and core algorithms, which are crucial for driving breakthroughs in core technologies. We need to strengthen the research and development capabilities of cutting-edge technologies such as brain computer interface basic theory, signal acquisition, and advanced algorithms, guide universities, research institutions, and backbone enterprises to carry out organized technology focused research and development, and steadily improve the research and development, design, and production capabilities of core components such as brain computer interface related chips, key materials, and important components. Accelerate the construction of a systematic support system that combines special research and platform support, establish a regular evaluation mechanism for the progress of key technology research, and provide continuous support and resource allocation for major breakthroughs. Talent cultivation is the fundamental support for industrialization. Brain computer interface is a typical interdisciplinary field that involves multiple disciplines such as neuroscience, materials science, information engineering, clinical medicine, etc. The demand for composite innovative talents is particularly urgent. To incorporate brain computer interfaces into the key layout of interdisciplinary construction, guide universities to break down traditional disciplinary barriers, explore and implement the joint training model of "backbone enterprises+well-known universities", and accelerate the cultivation speed of composite talents. Innovate the talent introduction model, attract top talents from around the world through methods such as "unveiling and leading", and ensure that talents are attracted and retained. Financial security is the lifeblood of industrialization. The development cycle of brain computer interfaces is long, the investment is large, and the risk is high, requiring a diversified investment and financing system to support it. Firstly, we need to leverage the government's guidance funds and focus on supporting hard technology projects in the seed and start-up stages. Secondly, encourage insurance institutions to deepen product innovation, develop more precise exclusive products based on the risk characteristics of brain computer interface research and development, and provide stable expectations and security guarantees for enterprises to focus on research and development and promote technological industrialization. Finally, efforts can be made to improve capital market services and support eligible brain computer interface companies to go public for financing. Scene applications are the practical basis for industrialization. Scenarios are a key link connecting technology and industry, bridging research and development with the market, and serving as an important carrier for promoting the integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation. They play a significant role in driving the industrialization of brain computer interfaces. Combining key points and aspects to promote the formation of a diversified pattern of "medical led, multi-point flowering". On the one hand, we will continue to delve into clinical diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of brain diseases, accumulate clinical data, and improve treatment and rehabilitation plans.
