On March 16th, the 16th session of the "Overseas Chinese Federation China Europe Gathering Strength and Setting Sail - 'Rongwan Going Global' Empowering the Coordinated Development of the Suili Industry and Supporting the High Quality Development of Overseas Chinese Enterprises Salon" was held in Liwan District, Guangzhou. Guided by the Guangdong Federation of Overseas Chinese, the Guangzhou Federation of Overseas Chinese, the Guangzhou Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and hosted by the Guangdong International Chinese Business Association, the Guangzhou New Overseas Chinese Friendship Association, and the Liwan District Federation of Overseas Chinese, the event closely followed the deployment of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese and the provincial and municipal overseas Chinese federations of "overseas Chinese helping thousands of enterprises and thousands of products to go to sea", seized the opportunity of China EU economic and trade cooperation in the "the Belt and Road", and built an efficient platform for docking between government, enterprises, and overseas Chinese with overseas Chinese as the bridge. Overseas Chinese resources are the precious wealth of this city, and the power of overseas Chinese is an important support for promoting high-quality development. As an international consumption center city, Guangzhou is becoming a "strong magnetic field" that gathers global consumption. By 2025, the import and export scale of Guangzhou will exceed 120 trillion yuan, reaching a historical high with a year-on-year growth of 10.4%. Among them, the import and export to the European Union will exceed 200 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 19.2%, providing a broad market space and solid industrial support for Guangzhou enterprises to deeply cultivate the European market. The core of this event is the two-way linkage between "inviting in" and "going out", which is not only an expansion of the previous investment promotion and talent introduction work, but also a specific action to accurately serve overseas Chinese enterprises and help them go global.
