According to statistics, since the lockdown, the import and export of goods in Hainan has reached 65.49 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.1%. Among them, the scale of foreign trade in January and February this year both reached the highest level in the same period of history. Compared with the announcement of the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port in 2018, after only two months of lockdown, Hainan's foreign trade value has approached 80% of the annual foreign trade value. Data shows that since the lockdown, the vitality of Hainan's foreign trade operators has continued to burst, and the number of enterprises with import and export performance has increased significantly. Among them, private enterprises, as the main force of foreign trade, have contributed more than 75% of the total import and export value of the province, and their role has become increasingly prominent. At the same time, Hainan's foreign trade market is more diversified. It has established trade relations with more than 220 countries and regions. Its import and export to countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" account for more than 61%, and its import and export to many emerging markets have achieved rapid growth.
