President Ndayismiye of Burundi said on the 17th that his country highly values its traditional friendship with China and is willing to work with China to promote greater development of bilateral relations. Ndayishmiye accepted the credentials of Zhu Kewei, the new Chinese ambassador to Burundi, at the Burundian presidential palace the same day, and said that Burundi and China have profound traditional friendship and stable political mutual trust. The Burundian side is willing to closely communicate and cooperate with China, constantly enhance the vitality of bilateral relations, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and better benefit the two peoples. Zhu Kewei stated that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Burundi has continued to deepen and solidify, with fruitful achievements in exchanges and cooperation in various fields. China is willing to work together with Burkina Faso to promote the friendship between China and Burkina Faso and between China and Africa to a new level, and make greater contributions to achieving modernization and enhancing global solidarity and cooperation in the South.
