The final of the 4th Science Fiction Planet Competition ended on the 16th in Shijingshan District, Beijing. As the core event of the China Science Fiction Conference, the award ceremony of this competition will be held at the Science Fiction Night and Science Fiction Planet Ceremony during the conference, further showcasing the value and industry influence of the event. This competition has gone through multiple rounds of evaluation, and finally 21 award-winning projects have been selected in the three major categories of science fiction technology, science fiction literature, and science fiction IP. At the same time, 12 science fiction rising star support program projects have been selected, demonstrating the technological frontier, literary innovation, and IP incubation potential of the science fiction field. As an international comprehensive science fiction event independently created by China, the Science Fiction Planet Competition builds a global platform for science fiction exchange and cooperation, providing strong support for science fiction technology innovation and industrial coordinated development, and continuously enhancing the influence and discourse power of Chinese science fiction on the international stage. Relying on the industry momentum of the China Science Fiction Conference, the competition has gradually grown into an important bridge connecting global science fiction resources and showcasing China's hardcore science fiction strength, becoming a key carrier for promoting the high-quality development of the science fiction industry. This competition will officially launch a global collection of works in January 2026. On the basis of retaining the three classic competition units of science fiction technology, science fiction literature, and science fiction IP, as well as the science fiction new star support plan, it will accurately focus on the two core directions of science fiction games and cutting-edge technology. By integrating and optimizing the sub tracks, it will further expand the coverage of entries, improve the quality of works, and achieve comprehensive coverage of the science fiction industry in all fields. At the same time, the competition system will be upgraded, breaking the previous single champion selection mode and adjusting it to a graded selection of first, second, and third place, more accurately mining high-quality achievements in each track; The total prize amount of the competition reaches 6.65 million yuan, with individual prize money up to 1 million yuan, empowering the growth of science fiction original power through rich incentives. This solicitation activity has attracted widespread participation from around the world, receiving a total of 793 entries, setting a new record for the scale of participation. After passing through qualification review, preliminary and semi-final rounds, 56 high-quality projects successfully broke through and advanced to the final stage, accepting the ultimate assessment of the judging panel. The 2026 China Science Fiction Conference will be held from March 27th to 29th at Shougang Park in Shijingshan District, Beijing.
