Guangxi Culture and Tourism's First Exhibition in Russia Achieves International 'Circle of Friends'

The Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region announced on the 16th that the 2026 Moscow International Tourism and Hotel Industry Exhibition (MITT) was recently held in Moscow. The department organized key inbound tourism enterprises from Guangxi to form an exhibition group and appeared in the "Hello! China" exhibition area, showcasing the unique charm of "Magnificent Guangxi" to the Russian industry. As the largest tourism professional event in Russia, this exhibition attracted thousands of tourism organizations from 34 countries and Russia. This is the first time that Guangxi has organized enterprises to participate in a professional tourism exhibition in Russia. The exhibition team carefully planned the booth content, closely following the preferences of Russian tourists for natural health, coastal leisure, and ethnic culture. The focus was on promoting tourism resources such as Guilin mountains and waters, Beibu Gulf coast, and Sino Vietnamese border customs. At the same time, cultural and creative products and characteristic products such as Zhuang brocade, Liu Bao tea, and Hepu pearls were exhibited. The colorful Zhuang brocade fan, fragrant and mellow Liu Bao tea, and crystal clear pearl jewelry have attracted a large number of professional visitors to stop and watch, consult and negotiate. Some popular exhibits were sold out during the exhibition period. During the exhibition, the Guangxi delegation conducted multiple rounds of precise communication with local Russian travelers, tourism associations, and related institutions, focusing on topics such as route development, customer source exchange, and joint promotion. The main products promoted, such as the "Beibu Gulf Coastal Health and Wellness Route" and the "Guilin Mountain and Water Outdoor Sports Route," have received high attention from Russian travel merchants. Multiple institutions have expressed their intention to cooperate and reached a preliminary consensus on route cooperation and promotion, laying a solid foundation for Guangxi to further explore the Russian tourism market. According to statistics, the Guangxi booth has received over 300 professional visitors and travel enthusiasts, accurately connecting with more than 80 local Russian travel merchants. The customer base covers traditional travel agencies, customized tourism institutions, and young consumer groups, fully demonstrating the diverse demand of the Russian market for Guangxi's cultural and tourism products.
