Hong Kong disciplinary forces will hold an open day to promote national security education for all citizens

In response to the National Security Education Day on April 15th, the eight disciplinary and auxiliary forces under the Security Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government will hold open days on different weekends from the end of March to mid April at their training institutes, museums, headquarters, branches or other relevant locations to deepen Hong Kong citizens' understanding of the various forces and their work and achievements in maintaining national security. The Kai Tak branch of the Special Administrative Region Government Flying Service will open on March 29th; The Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum and Community Education Experience Hall, as well as the headquarters of the Public Safety Service, will be open on April 11th; The Tizi Park and Fire and Ambulance Academy adjacent to the Wan Chai Police Headquarters will open on April 12th; The Immigration College of the Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Customs College will open on April 18th; The headquarters of the medical auxiliary team will open on April 19th. The open day of each military unit will hold different activities, including flag raising ceremony, Chinese style marching demonstration, rescue demonstration, virtual reality training system demonstration, simulated aircraft experience, firearms and equipment display, work dog performance, booth games, etc., to let citizens understand the responsibilities of each military unit in preventing and resisting national security risks, enhance social awareness and attention to national security, create a conscious atmosphere for safeguarding national security, and promote law-abiding awareness.
