The series of actions focus on addressing three major issues that consumers have strongly reported: firstly, strictly controlling the chaos of live streaming sales, urging live streaming platforms, rooms, and hosts to strictly implement the "Regulations on the Supervision and Management of the Implementation of Food Safety Main Responsibility by Live Streaming E-commerce Operators" that came into effect on March 20th, clarifying the boundaries of responsibilities, implementing a list of prohibited sales, and strictly preventing "marketing rhetoric" from misleading consumers. The second is to strictly investigate the qualifications of food products entering the network, urge the platform to strictly fulfill its substantive review obligations, and strictly prevent the sale of food products produced and operated without obtaining a food production and operation license, using false qualifications, or impersonating others' qualifications.
