In order to reduce the impact of allergenic pollen on the daily lives of citizens, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Landscape and Greening has recently launched comprehensive prevention and control of allergenic pollen for 2026. According to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Landscape and Greening, the pollen season of the Cupressaceae family began around March 8th this spring, and will gradually enter the peak period of loose pollen around mid March. During the high incidence period of allergenic pollen, relevant forestry units will comprehensively use measures such as "shaping and pruning, high-pressure water spraying, ground humidification, spraying fixatives, and timely cleaning" to increase the frequency of operations in key areas and minimize the concentration of allergenic pollen in the air. The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Landscape and Greening has also collaborated with research institutes to develop new environmentally friendly biological agents such as pollen fixatives and pollen control agents, helping to scientifically and effectively carry out comprehensive prevention and control work.
