At the end of this year and next year, there will be some test cars equipped with all solid state batteries, but large-scale production is likely to take another 3 to 5 years. Standing at the starting point of the 15th Five Year Plan, where will new energy vehicles go in the next five years? Ouyang Minggao systematically elaborated on seven technological innovation directions, namely full process safety, full climate supercharging, fully autonomous driving, full line chassis control, all solid state batteries, high efficiency under all operating conditions, and fully functional electric vehicles. When it comes to the development of the new energy vehicle industry in 10 years, Ouyang Minggao believes that with the advancement of technology, the advantages of pure electric drive new energy vehicles will become increasingly prominent. The efficiency of using green electricity in electric vehicles is twice that of green hydrogen vehicles and four times that of electric synthesis fuel internal combustion engine vehicles. He further predicted that electric vehicles will truly evolve into the 2.0 and 3.0 era of "vehicle energy integration", not only as a means of transportation, but also as a vehicle body power generation and battery energy storage, achieving zero or even negative costs (which can make money).
