Mainland customs, Hong Kong Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, and Macau Municipal Services Department have established a mechanism of "mutual recognition of supervision, exchange of information, and mutual assistance in law enforcement" to move the regulatory checkpoint forward and achieve source control; Hong Kong and Macao implement daily supervision of food production enterprises according to mainland standards, conduct sampling testing according to the joint testing plan, and issue official health certificates; Mainland customs can implement convenient customs clearance at ports under the jurisdiction of Shenzhen, Gongbei, and Huangpu Customs with official certificates from the Hong Kong side. After on-site inspection and no abnormalities are found, food samples can be directly released without waiting for test results. The improvement of customs clearance efficiency brings substantial burden reduction to enterprises.
