Li Xiaomei pointed out that China has always done its best to contribute to global development. The global development initiative proposed by China has identified financing for development as a key area of cooperation, and has mobilized over 23 billion US dollars to support the development and revitalization of the global South. China has proposed resolutions on economic, social and cultural rights, and the promotion of human rights through development at the Human Rights Council, injecting new momentum into mutually beneficial cooperation among all parties; Actively sharing human rights concepts and practices, and building new platforms for talent training and capacity building in developing countries. Li Xiaomei stated that the 2026 National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference are underway, and the main targets and major strategic tasks for China's "15th Five Year Plan" period have been announced. China is willing to continue providing new opportunities for the global South with high-quality development, better realizing various human rights such as the right to development, economic, social and cultural rights, and leaving no one behind.
