In 2025, the national procuratorial organs have effectively solved a number of prominent problems in the field of people's livelihood. "On March 4th, Shi Weizhong, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, highlighted the special action of the procuratorial organs to deepen the" inspection and protection of people's livelihood ", especially in the protection of workers' rights and interests, punishment of false litigation, and governance of new livelihood issues in the Internet era, demonstrating the responsibility of the procuratorial organs to warm the hearts of the people and resolve public concerns through their performance of duties. In terms of protecting the rights and interests of workers, Shi Weizhong introduced that the procuratorial organs continue to consolidate the achievements of addressing wage arrears and build a "safety line" for the survival and development of workers. By 2025, procuratorial organs across the country will prosecute more than 1000 people for refusing to pay labor remuneration, support more than 28000 lawsuits against migrant workers, and provide judicial assistance of 620 million yuan to 43000 disadvantaged workers. In response to the pain points of protecting the rights and interests of workers in new forms of employment, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, together with the All China Federation of Trade Unions and other departments, has issued multiple cooperation mechanisms and work guidelines to build a comprehensive and long-term protection system. Taking the case handled by the Qingpu District Prosecutor's Office in Shanghai as an example, the court has urged administrative agencies to fulfill their duties in accordance with the law in response to strong complaints from couriers about unreasonable rules for fee withdrawal. The court has also promoted the optimization of platform algorithms by multiple leading express delivery companies, increased the proportion of direct withdrawal of single item fees, and directly benefited more than 700000 express delivery employees. Regularly carrying out special supervision on false litigation is an important measure to maintain judicial order and the legitimate rights and interests of the masses. Shi Weizhong stated that in 2025, the procuratorial organs will focus on key areas such as people's livelihood, protection of state-owned property, and finance, and severely crack down on false litigation behavior, effectively curbing the high incidence of false litigation in traditional fields such as private lending and labor disputes. The Procuratorate of Anyang City, Henan Province, in conjunction with relevant departments, carried out a special rectification of false litigation and false labor arbitration in the field of social security funds, handled 236 supervision cases, recovered losses of 120 million yuan from social security funds, and transferred more than 9000 clues to the whole country; The procuratorial organs of Changchun City, Jilin Province, relied on the clues assigned by the Supreme People's Procuratorate to investigate and handle more than 620 cases of labor dispute false litigation involving enterprises illegally paying social security benefits, with a total amount of 13 million yuan involved, effectively safeguarding public interests. In addition, in response to illegal and irregular collection of citizens' personal information by apps, non-standard collection and storage of personal information in public parking lots, illegal use, as well as illegal activities such as "network box opening" and "online violence", Shi Weizhong introduced that focusing on the governance of telecommunications network fraud crimes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate has deeply promoted the "7.17" special action to crack down on telecommunications fraud in northern Myanmar, and has lawfully and properly handled major cross-border criminal group cases such as the "four major families" in northern Myanmar; Guide the handling of the first civil public interest litigation case involving code number resources and anti telecom network fraud.
