On March 3rd local time, Dai Wei, director of the Intensive Care Medicine Department of Panlongcheng Branch of Wuhan Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital in Hubei Province, China, led a delegation to hold talks with Masupa, director of Maseru Regional Hospital in the Kingdom of Lesotho, and multiple department heads in Maseru. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on the construction project of "Critical Care Medicine" at the Maseru Regional Hospital in the Kingdom of Lesotho, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, aiming to further promote the deep integration of clinical experience in critical care medicine in China and medical practice in Lesotho. During the meeting, Dai Wei shared and exported the management mode, operation mechanism, and cutting-edge concepts of critical care medicine based on the actual needs of Lesotho. He emphasized that China will assist hospitals in the Maseru region in enhancing their comprehensive service capabilities in critical care medicine through systematic training, technical support, and talent cultivation. At the same time, the Chinese side also plans to select outstanding medical staff from the Lebanese side to regularly participate in specialized training in critical care medicine in China, in order to cultivate more local medical backbone for the region. Masupa, the director of the Maseru Regional Hospital, expressed gratitude for China's long-term support.
