In Baoji, Shaanxi, a power generation company's "thermal storage and commissioning" project has been connected to the grid and put into operation. This project integrates AI intelligent algorithms, power trading strategies, and multi type energy storage collaborative control technology, relying on a digital management platform to achieve full process intelligent operation. It can accurately respond to grid frequency regulation instructions and improve the frequency regulation performance of the unit. To cope with extreme weather disturbances, various regions have applied intelligent technology, increased inspection frequency, and improved emergency response capabilities to ensure smooth energy transportation, stable operation of units, and safe and reliable power grid. In Guangzhou, Guangdong, the local maritime department combines tides and shipping schedules to implement precise water transportation organization, compress ship stay time, and improve the efficiency of coal transfer; In Shanghai, a certain energy company is promoting the renovation of aging gas pipelines, with a total of over 2400 kilometers of renovation completed, improving the emergency supply capacity of natural gas; In Daqing, Heilongjiang Province, a power plant scientifically regulates the operation status of equipment, finely maintains main and auxiliary equipment, accurately identifies hidden dangers, ensures efficient operation of the unit, and assists in the "dual stability and dual optimization" of heating and power generation... At the same time, power companies have increased their inspection efforts on power grid facilities to ensure the safety of power transportation. In Dongying, Shandong, a power supply company relies on unmanned aerial vehicle adaptive inspection technology to carry out lean inspections of key transmission lines through "AI visual recognition+autonomous route planning", and cooperates with ground platform online monitoring devices to build an anti icing monitoring, early warning, and emergency response system. The relevant person in charge introduced that the company has also established an emergency repair team to ensure that it can "respond quickly and restore power quickly" in case of emergencies. In Zhou Yang's view, although China's energy supply system is constantly improving, it still faces a series of challenges during the peak winter season: heating in winter leads to concentrated and high peak energy demand, increasing the pressure on supply-demand balance; During periods of low wind and low light, the intermittency and volatility of new energy sources affect the stable operation of the power system; With the increasing proportion of new energy, the demand for peak shaving resources in the system is growing; The coal transportation chain is susceptible to interference from rain, snow, and freezing, and transmission lines face the risk of icing, which may affect energy transmission safety; The increasingly complex load structure of the power grid has intensified the pressure on power grid regulation. In this regard, Zhou Yang suggested that we should consolidate the foundation of traditional energy to ensure safety, continuously track the production and supply of coal and natural gas, and ensure that inventory is at a high level; Accelerate the development of pumped storage and new energy storage, promote the flexibility transformation of coal-fired power plants, equip the power grid with sufficient "power banks", stabilize the fluctuations of new energy, and improve the system's regulation response speed; Promote the construction of power grid reinforcement projects and cross regional transmission channels, strengthen the monitoring of line icing and the application of ice melting technology, carry out cold resistant reinforcement and intelligent inspection of key equipment, and enhance disaster resistance under extreme weather conditions.
