The Civil Aviation Administration of China released the 2025 National Civil Transport Airport Production Statistics Bulletin on the same day. According to the announcement, by the end of 2025, there will be a total of 270 certified transportation airports in China, including 266 regular flight airports and 261 regular flight cities (or regions). In terms of passenger throughput, there are 41 transport airports with a passenger throughput of over 10 million by 2025, accounting for 83.7% of the total passenger throughput of domestic transport airports. The annual passenger throughput of Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has exceeded 80 million for the first time, while the annual passenger throughput of Beijing Daxing International Airport, Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, and Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has exceeded 50 million for the first time.
