As a national demonstration project selected for the "2025 5G Factory List" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Nanshan Mine's "Intelligent 5G Factory for Mining, Transportation and Selection" is accelerating this century old mine towards a new journey with an intelligent attitude. On one screen, showcasing the intelligent central power of the spring season, walking into the intelligent control center of Baowu Resources Magang Mining Nanshan Mine, you can see the real-time jumping of production, quality, logistics, safety and other data on the huge curved screen, making the entire process of mining, transportation and selection clear at a glance. Inside the center, the "round table" scheduling site is particularly eye-catching. At around 9 o'clock in the morning, Wang Yufeng, director of the Smart Office of Nanshan Mine, and the control personnel were staring at the flashing information data on the screen, carefully analyzing, communicating in real-time, and scheduling with one click, creating an efficient and collaborative atmosphere. Previously, a power distribution room required 9-11 people to operate normally, while in a mining area with just over 20 power distribution rooms, nearly 200 employees were needed. This not only consumed time and energy, but also resulted in an average working environment. Now, through intelligent centralized control and optimization of frontline employee positions, operational efficiency and safety levels have been greatly improved. ”Wang Yufeng's words were filled with emotion. In 2014, Wang Yufeng, who had a background in electrical engineering, came to work at Nanshan Mine. From a college graduate who had just entered the workforce to a skilled mining technician today, Wang Yufeng was deeply involved in the entire process of building the intelligent control center and witnessed the century old mine moving towards a "new" direction. "At that time, specialized workers had to be arranged in each area, and whether the equipment was abnormal mainly relied on the on-site experience of the experienced master. It took three days for all the power distribution stations to run down, which was both slow and prone to errors." As a participant and practitioner in the transformation of mining intelligence, Wang Yufeng integrated his professional knowledge into the development practice of the mine and worked with the team to build this intelligent control system. Now, workers only need to sit in the control center and use fiber optic sensors to remotely monitor and control high-definition images. Data such as voltage, current, and equipment temperature are updated in real time, which is clearer than on site. ”She clicked the mouse and immediately switched to real-time images of each distribution room on the screen, with all parameters jumping steadily. It is the stable support of 5G network that has fundamentally changed the production and scheduling mode. In the core production process, a series of processes such as crushing and grinding have achieved "one click start stop" and "fully automatic operation", and the comprehensive unmanned production line index has jumped from 33.53% to 71.46%. Production decisions have completely bid farewell to experience dependence. At the same time, the device AI diagnostic system is like a "smart sentinel", automatically identifying risks such as personnel crossing boundaries and equipment abnormalities, and building a strong security line. A single network weaves a modern mining model, covering a mining area of 16 square kilometers; One click direct access "can be seen at every operational point in the mining area. In Wang Yufeng's view, Nanshan Mine, as a large open-pit mine, has a complex terrain in the Shili mining area. Deep mining areas, complex transportation routes, and undulating terrain have caused a large number of signal blind spots. In addition, the constantly operating equipment makes it an important prerequisite for building a 5G smart mine to accurately reach and stably cover every operation link. To solve this problem, Nanshan Mine and China Mobile (Ma'anshan) Branch have formed a joint research team to carry out multiple rounds of surveys and technical breakthroughs. They have taken key areas such as the edge of the mine pit and transportation trunk lines as breakthroughs, accurately planned and deployed 10 5G macro stations and more than 2500 monitoring units, and tailored a seamless "neural network" for the mine. I never dreamed that Nanshan Mine would become so clean now, and workers would work in this hall, clean and dignified! ”The old miners pointed to the fully covered signal map on the screen and sighed, feeling that things are different now. Nowadays, production data and images from frontline workshops are transmitted in real-time to every computer in the intelligent control center through 5G networks. Sitting in the intelligent hall, a new generation of miners like Wang Yufeng can easily control the production pulse of a 16 square kilometer mine with just a click of the mouse. Now, no matter where you are in the corner, you can receive instructions at any time, and high-definition video feedback makes problem resolution fast and accurate. ”Wang Yufeng introduced that this 5G network not only ended the history of signal blind spots in mining areas, but also laid a solid foundation for the intelligent transformation of mines.
