Recently, the Capital Internet Association held the 2025 "We Media" Governance and Development Summary Review Conference, which systematically summarized the results of the annual industry self-discipline work, exchanged innovative experience and practices, actively explored the "We Media" multi governance strategy, and released the 2025 "We Media" governance and development innovation cases at the conference. At the meeting, around the governance and development of the "We Media" field, the Capital Internet Association introduced the development of self-discipline and autonomy from the aspects of establishing professional committees, organizing industry reviews, and focusing on governance in key areas. Representatives from multiple platforms shared their highlights and innovative measures in building a false information governance system, leveraging the positive guidance role of top accounts in content ecosystem construction, proactively responding to new risks brought by AIGC, and providing comprehensive compliance training for "self media" creators. Liu Xiaochun, associate professor of the Law School of the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and director of the Internet Rule of Law Research Center, said at the meeting that compared with last year, the 2025 "We Media" governance and development innovation cases cover more platforms, have more diversified governance means, and have more prominent demonstration effects. One is to shift from specialized and individual case governance to the formation of a scalable, promotable, and replicable normalized mechanism; The second is to fully utilize cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence to implement precise governance in key areas, and transform post debunking into pre event, in event identification, tracking, and prompting; The third is to adopt diverse incentives and guidance measures for high-quality content, encouraging the production and dissemination of high-quality content. It is reported that in the next step, the Capital Internet Association will give full play to the self-discipline and autonomy function of the "We Media" governance and development special committee, promote the formation of a governance model of policy consultation, problem co governance, and ecological co construction, and create a clear and orderly "We Media" communication ecology.
