The first securities infringement dispute case in China caused by the failure of directors, supervisors, and senior executives of a listed company to fulfill their public commitment to increase holdings, a series of civil public interest litigation cases involving seven companies and individuals of a travel agency in Shaanxi illegally crossing and damaging the ecological environment of Qinling Mountains, a pre litigation behavior preservation case between the applicant Quanzhou Cultural Relics Protection Center and the respondent Wang, the first case in China to determine that AI generated images do not have originality in infringing on the information network dissemination rights of works, a case of being dismissed for refusing to do work for three people by one person, a case of minors urinating in hot pot, the first recognition and enforcement of "Hong Kong funded Hong Kong arbitration" awards in China, a series of cases involving a real estate company in Hefei, supporting the compensation of elderly care dependency fees for traffic accidents, and a series of bankruptcy reorganization cases of New Hualian Holdings Co., Ltd. selected as "New The era promotes the process of rule of law and the top ten nominated cases for 2025. As an annual public course on the rule of law shared by the whole nation, the "Top Ten Cases of Promoting the Rule of Law in the New Era" publicity campaign has been successfully held for nine sessions so far. The 2025 event is jointly organized by the News Center of the Central Radio and Television Station, the Judicial Case Research Institute of the Supreme People's Court, the Case Law Research Association of the China Law Society, the News Bureau of the Supreme People's Court, and the News Media Headquarters of the People's Court. This event screened and preliminarily evaluated various cases tried by courts across the country in the past year, and selected 50 typical cases with significant influence for online voting. After being selected by the expert committee and taking into account the voting results of netizens, the top ten cases and ten nominated cases for promoting the rule of law in the new era in 2025 were finally selected. The People's Court Case Library will set up a column titled "Top Ten Cases of the Year to Promote the Rule of Law in the New Era", and all previous top ten cases will be included in the case library to further play the leading role of typical cases, provide more fresh materials for all sectors of society to learn and use the law, and enhance the awareness of the rule of law in the whole society. It is also reported that in order to strengthen the exemplary and leading role of typical cases, the special program "Watch for Justice - Top Ten Cases to Promote the Rule of Law Process in the New Era 2025" will be broadcast on the CCTV-1 comprehensive channel of China Central Radio and Television Station at 22:30 on February 8, with simultaneous live broadcasts on CCTV's new media platform and the new media of the National Court. The program will introduce the top ten cases one by one through vivid case analysis and professional authoritative interpretation of the rule of law, promoting the deepening of the concept of the rule of law.
