On January 29th, the "New Year Celebration of Mountains and Seas Harmony - China Indonesia Friendship Story Conference" was held in Beijing. During the event, six speakers from different fields shared their personal experiences, covering topics of friendly cooperation such as the construction of the Jakarta Bandung high-speed railway, China Indonesia maritime cooperation, digital people to people exchanges, and cross-border cultural dissemination, vividly demonstrating the breadth and depth of cooperation and cultural exchanges between the two countries. The attending guests reviewed the fruitful achievements since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia, and expressed the hope that stories will promote people to people connectivity, allowing more friendly stories between China and Indonesia to be heard, written, and remembered. The China Indonesia Friendship Story Club series of activities is hosted by the China Foreign Publishing and Distribution Center, covering two major sections: global collection and exhibition of China Indonesia friendship stories, and a series of themed story club activities. Among them, the global solicitation has been launched and will end by the end of March 2026. Around the four themes of "Haisi Heart Bridge", "Harmony and Win Together", "Blue Miracle", and "Smart Future", videos, pictures, written works and other story contents will be solicited from around the world. The series of story events will be held successively in 2026, with key themes such as "The Win Win Road of Jakarta Bandung High speed Railway", "The Blue Miracle of Ocean Development", and "Digital Bridges in the Innovation Wave", continuously focusing on the wonderful stories of friendly exchanges between the people of China and Indonesia.
