Reporters learned from the Chinese Academy of Sciences on January 27 that our scientific research team has successfully developed a fully superconducting user magnet with a central magnetic field strength of 35.6 Tesla, which is equivalent to more than 700000 times of the geomagnetic field, and has broken the existing record of fully superconducting user magnets, relying on the national major scientific and technological infrastructure - the comprehensive extreme conditions experimental device. It is reported that the full superconducting user magnet developed this time was designed and manufactured by the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences overcame problems such as health monitoring.
