Fingertips' see 'sign language' hear ', they open the exhibition in another way

2026-01-26

On January 24th, the exhibition hall of the "Kuwait Royal Collection Exhibition" at the Guangdong Provincial Museum welcomed a group of visually impaired and hearing-impaired visitors. They "see" or "hear" the history and art behind the exhibits with the help of volunteers, either by touching cultural relic models with their own hands or by dancing their hands according to sign language teachers. It is reported that the Guangdong Provincial Museum has been systematically building an accessible cultural integration system since 2018. From exploration to maturity, the museum has made the "Hearing Guangdong Museum" for visually impaired groups and the "Hand in Hand Guangdong Museum" for hearing-impaired groups a monthly permanent project, ensuring the sustainability and professionalism of services.
