The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued the "Notice on Fully Carrying out Automated Monitoring of Computing Power Situation Awareness" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), aiming to accelerate the formation of a national "one account" for computing power resources and comprehensively improve the management efficiency of computing power resources in China. The Notice requires that, based on the pilot work in the early stage, key computing power enterprises in various regions of the country will be organized in two batches to carry out automated monitoring of computing power situation awareness relying on the Chinese computing power platform system. By comprehensively improving the automation monitoring capability, improving the data quality verification mechanism, and enhancing the level of intelligent data analysis, the computing power monitoring capability will be comprehensively enhanced, and the dynamic optimization of the computing power supply structure will be promoted, laying a solid foundation for efficient allocation of computing power resources and high-quality industrial development. The Notice proposes to achieve automated monitoring of computing power resource data in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and key computing power enterprises nationwide by the end of 2026, and to basically establish a nationwide, standardized, intelligent and efficient automated monitoring system for computing power situational awareness. The quality of monitoring data, intelligent analysis capabilities, and application level of monitoring results will be effectively improved. The automation monitoring of computing power situational awareness will help various units dynamically optimize the deployment and supply structure of computing power in their local areas and enterprises based on monitoring and analysis results, guide the efficient application of computing power, enhance the empowerment of small and medium-sized enterprises in innovation and development, and improve the accessibility of water in various industries. Next, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will strengthen the promotion and interpretation of the "Notice", guide various regions and enterprises to steadily promote the automation monitoring of computing power situation awareness, continue to optimize the rational deployment of computing power resources, build a high-speed agile computing power support network, promote the refinement, intelligence, and efficient matching of supply and demand of computing power resources, and continuously improve the efficiency of computing power resource allocation.
