On the 20th, Hong Kong SAR Commissioner Against Corruption Hu Yingming received visiting Macau SAR Commissioner Against Corruption Ouyang Xiang and related representatives in Hong Kong, discussing deepening anti-corruption cooperation between the two sides, leveraging synergies, and actively promoting anti-corruption construction in both regions. Hu Yingming and members of the Macau SAR Independent Commission Against Corruption delegation, including Ouyang Xiang, exchanged experiences and insights on the latest anti-corruption work between the two regions. Hu Yingming stated that the Macao SAR Independent Commission Against Corruption has always been a strategic partner of the Hong Kong SAR Independent Commission Against Corruption, with seamless cooperation in law enforcement, anti-corruption, and integrity education. Under the advantage of "One Country, Two Systems", the Macao SAR Independent Commission Against Corruption actively supports the work of the "International Association of Anti Corruption Authorities" chaired by him, as well as the exchange and training work of the Hong Kong International Anti Corruption Academy under the Hong Kong SAR Independent Commission Against Corruption. Both sides will further enhance the synergy effect in the future and contribute to the development of the country. Ouyang Xiang pointed out that this is his first visit to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) after taking office at the end of 2024. The two sides have maintained close cooperation in different fields for many years, and in 2025, he will also send representatives to Brazil together with the ICAC to provide anti-corruption training for local anti-corruption and law enforcement agencies.
