The report shows that at the technical level, payload range, airworthiness safety, intelligent driving, and power systems constitute the core bottlenecks for the large-scale development of the flying car industry, especially the air control capability required for flight in densely populated urban areas has become a strong international consensus requirement. Although the power system is showing a trend of "pure electric first, hybrid dominant, and hydrogen parallel", breakthroughs are still needed in lightweight hybrid technology to meet emergency self-control. Wang Zhihong also introduced that in terms of infrastructure, cities lack vertical takeoff and landing site networks and digital support for "low altitude intelligent networking", and the current planning is still in the pilot exploration stage. On the cost side, R&D and airworthiness certification investments reach hundreds of millions of yuan, and aviation grade materials and manufacturing processes drive up manufacturing costs, making it difficult to achieve universal ticket prices in the initial stage. At the conceptual level, public safety concerns and insufficient industry consensus also constrain the pace of industrial development for flying cars. Faced with challenges, Wang Zhihong proposed a systematic response path of "policy guidance, technological collaboration, industry integration, and scenario demonstration". He suggested that at the policy level, it is necessary to guide the establishment of airworthiness certification mechanisms, airspace management, regulatory standards, etc. that are suitable for the technological iteration and large-scale production needs of flying vehicles. In terms of technological breakthroughs, a low altitude flight technology collaborative working group should be established to promote joint research and development of common technologies such as flight control and power. In terms of industrial integration, we need to deepen the complementary advantages of the automotive and aviation industry chains, rely on about 70% of the technological homology between flying cars and new energy vehicles to achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement, and strengthen the localization and independent controllability of core components. In terms of the layout of flying car infrastructure, it is necessary to first reuse existing resources to form demonstration capabilities, and then gradually expand specialized networks.
