On January 14th, the Equipment Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Industry Development Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Price Supervision and Inspection and Anti Unfair Competition Bureau of the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly held a symposium for enterprises in the new energy vehicle industry, deploying relevant work to standardize the competition order of the new energy vehicle industry. The meeting called for adhering to innovation driven and quality first principles, resolutely resisting disorderly "price wars", and promoting the construction of a market order with high quality, good price, and fair competition. The three departments will further strengthen work coordination, enhance cost investigation and price monitoring, increase supervision and law enforcement efforts, strengthen supervision and inspection of product production consistency, severely deal with non compliant enterprises in accordance with laws and regulations, maintain a fair and orderly market environment, and promote high-quality development of the automotive industry. It is reported that relevant officials from the Equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, 17 key automobile enterprises and other units attended the meeting.
