The Director of the Medical and Health Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Lu Chongmao, and the Director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yu Yanhong, signed a "Traditional Chinese Medicine Cooperation Agreement" to deepen cooperation between mainland China and Hong Kong, jointly promote the inheritance, innovation and development of traditional Chinese medicine, and comprehensively promote the construction of a highland for traditional Chinese medicine in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. Lu Chongmao and He Jie, Director of the National Cancer Center, signed a "Cooperation Framework Agreement" to actively promote in-depth cooperation between the two sides in the field of cancer prevention and treatment, based on the principles of complementary advantages and mutual benefit. The agreement aims to deepen mutual construction in areas such as cancer basic research, screening and early diagnosis and treatment, standardized diagnosis and treatment, big data, and knowledge popularization and education. Li Jiachao said that the two agreements signed today further strengthen mutual cooperation and promote high-quality development of Hong Kong's healthcare industry. In addition, the Hong Kong Hospital Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Health Commission and Chow Tai Fook Medical Foundation Limited on the second phase of cooperation on "Community Healthcare New World - Community Health and Primary Care Management Training", in line with the development of community health and primary care policies in mainland China, to strengthen the training of more mainland community healthcare personnel.
