The boss has changed and the unpaid wages cannot be changed

We understand the difficulties faced by the company, but the company does not understand us! The boss has changed, and the unpaid wages want to be written off in full! Thank you to the prosecution for supporting the lawsuit and helping us recover our hard-earned money! "Recently, under the supervision of the Dingbian County Procuratorate in Shaanxi Province, Mr. and Mrs. Gao regained their labor remuneration that had been owed for nearly ten years. The couple excitedly thanked the prosecutor. From January 2010 to June 2019, the Dingbian County project department of a certain engineering company in Xi'an contracted the construction of multiple projects, including a reserve warehouse, residential communities, and street diversion and expansion in Dingbian County. Mr. and Mrs. Gao are employed by a construction company in Xi'an, with agreed monthly salaries of 3000 yuan and 2600 yuan respectively. But since December 2015, the company has been withholding salaries from Mr. and Mrs. Gao, citing reasons such as poor cash flow. From January 2016 to June 2019, I owed a total of 126000 yuan to me and 46800 yuan to my spouse. During these three to four years, we worked voluntarily for the company! We have been working for so many years and have feelings for the company. Now that the company is facing difficulties, we don't need to rush for salary. ”Mr. and Mrs. Gao initially understood the difficulties faced by the company, but they did not expect that the company would withdraw from Dingbian later on. In June 2019, the company changed its boss and legal representative. Mr. and Mrs. Gao were initially introduced by the person in charge of the Dingbian County project department of a certain engineering company in Xi'an. They did not sign a formal labor contract with the company, and later did not retain the proof of the company's salary payment. In addition, the new legal representative of the company clearly stated that they did not understand the past situation. Over the years, Mr. and Mrs. Gao have traveled countless times between Dingbian and Xi'an to demand compensation, but the matter has not been resolved. They also want to sue in the past court, but suffer from a lack of legal knowledge and cannot find strong evidence. Seeing years of hard work and dedication about to go to waste, Mr. and Mrs. Gao are anxious and angry. On June 25, 2025, Mr. and Mrs. Gao, guided by someone else, applied to the procuratorial organ for civil support in filing a lawsuit. The Dingbian County Procuratorate accepts and files the case in accordance with the law. After accepting the case, the investigating prosecutor went to Xi'an to verify relevant clues, and together with another party who had evidence and sued the company for wage arrears, they "blocked" the legal representative of the company after the change in court, clarified the relevant legal and interest relationships, and requested the company to provide financial information related to Mr. and Mrs. Gao. At the same time, they informed the prosecutor that the prosecution had initiated a case investigation procedure to support the prosecution. Afterwards, the legal representative of the company traveled from Xi'an to Dingbian and reached a settlement agreement with Mr. and Mrs. Gao: the company paid more than 70000 yuan to Mr. Gao and 27800 yuan to his wife Shao. If the company fails to pay on time, Mr. and Mrs. Gao can pursue legal action. Recently, Mr. and Mrs. Gao received all the funds and submitted an "Application for Withdrawal of Supervision" to the procuratorial organ. At this point, the "salary worries" that had been frustrating the Gao couple for many years have been resolved. (New Society)
