In order to promote the innovative development and standardized application of generative artificial intelligence services, the cyberspace administration department, together with relevant departments, will continue to carry out the filing work of generative artificial intelligence services in accordance with the requirements of the Interim Measures for the Management of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services. In 2025, 446 new generative artificial intelligence services will be registered with the Cyberspace Administration of China. For generative artificial intelligence applications or functions that directly call the registered model capabilities through API interfaces or other means, the local Cyberspace Administration will carry out registration, and 330 new services will be registered. The State Internet Information Office said that those who provide generative AI services with the attribute of public opinion or the ability of social mobilization can perform the filing or registration procedures through the local network information department.
