Recently, it was learned from the annual transportation business inventory meeting of a comprehensive coordination center of the Joint Logistics Support Force that through multidimensional efforts such as railway network optimization, information empowerment, support mechanism innovation, and unified loading standards, the overall transit time of military trains has been continuously shortened, and the quality and efficiency of military railway transportation delivery have been further improved. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the national railway network layout and the enhancement of the main channel capacity, multiple railway freight dedicated lines have been built and put into operation. This not only provides diversified path options for the operation of military trains, but also opens up a green channel for the transportation of large equipment. In the past, military trains needed to wait for evasive buses during operation; Nowadays, the separation of passenger and freight on the railway line has been implemented, and the principle of prioritizing military trains has been put into practice, providing conditions for the acceleration of military trains. At the same time, the transportation and delivery system has undergone iterative upgrades, and the breakthrough application of information technology has empowered and increased efficiency in transportation and delivery processes such as task planning, capacity allocation, and scheduling management. It is understood that the shortened transit time of military trains is also due to the joint cooperation between military and civilian forces, promoting the implementation of supporting mechanisms. In response to issues such as difficulty refueling during the operation of military trains with coupled passenger cars, the Logistics Support Department of the Central Military Commission and China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. have jointly issued a standardized process for the in transit support of military train passenger cars, providing a refined and institutionalized dynamic support network for military train operations. At a railway platform, the person in charge of loading for a certain task force stated that in the past, the most troublesome issue for cross regional mobility was the need to repeatedly submit plans for the same batch of equipment in different regions. Nowadays, the military and civilian sectors collaborate to develop a unified shipping plan and reinforcement standards, and the troops only need to implement them accordingly to achieve unimpeded travel throughout the country. The relevant person in charge of the center stated that in the next step, they will work together with local transportation departments to focus on the needs of war preparation, deepen cooperation in intelligent algorithms for transportation scheduling, seamless integration of multimodal transportation, real-time perception of in transit status, and other fields, promote a new leap in our military's strategic delivery capabilities, and better serve national defense and military modernization construction.
