After being reviewed by the Advisory Committee and internal procedures of the University of Macau, and approved by the Board of Directors, the University of Macau announced the establishment of five major science and technology colleges, including the School of Medicine, the School of Information Science, the School of Engineering, the School of Science, and the School of Design. It is reported that the discipline layout will simultaneously promote the optimization and integration of campus resources. The main campus and the Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone campus will implement the "one school, two zones" complementary advantages and mutual support. The reorganized medical school, information school, engineering school, and design school will implement joint education between the two campuses in the future, with headquarters located in the cooperation zone campus, strengthening the deep connection between science and technology colleges and industries, and assisting in the transformation and landing of scientific research achievements.
