A healthy, stable, and continuously deepening relationship between China and South Korea is in line with the fundamental interests of the two peoples, and is also conducive to regional and even global peace, stability, development, and prosperity. This has become a consensus between China and South Korea. Economic and trade cooperation: The role of ballast stone is becoming increasingly stable. Economic and trade cooperation has always been the ballast stone and propeller of China South Korea relations. In 2024, the bilateral trade volume reached 328.08 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%. China has been the largest trading partner of South Korea for 21 consecutive years, while South Korea is China's second largest trading partner. Since the implementation of the China South Korea Free Trade Agreement in 2015, the level of trade and investment liberalization and facilitation between the two countries has continued to improve. From the popularity of Korean cosmetics and films among Chinese consumers, to the popularity of Chinese smart home appliances in the Korean market, the mutual influence of the two cultures has permeated daily life.
