Recently, the Supreme People's Court released typical cases of people's court governance of wage arrears, providing demonstration and guidance for courts at all levels, promoting courts in various regions to continue to do a good job in eradicating wage arrears, and effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers. In 6 typical cases, some courts cleverly resolved the execution deadlock by relying on the linkage mechanism between the government and the court; Some achieve the rights and interests of migrant workers by efficiently checking and controlling their assets through cross execution; Some use coercive measures to combat refusal to comply; Some facilitate the rapid realization of company assets to pay salaries, etc. One of the cases shows that in a series of labor dispute cases between 61 applicants including Yu and a catering management company in Chuzhou, Anhui, the Chuzhou Labor Dispute Arbitration Commission ruled that the company should pay labor remuneration totaling more than 1.16 million yuan to 61 applicants including Yu. After the Langya District People's Court of Chuzhou City filed the case for execution, a comprehensive property investigation and control was carried out, but no assets available for execution were found, and the execution of the case was temporarily in difficulty. The executing court learned that the company's main business is providing meals for school canteens, and the receivable meal fees from various schools are its important operating income. It immediately activated the government court linkage mechanism, actively cooperated with local education authorities, and accurately investigated and controlled the debtor's debt. With the joint cooperation of the government and the court, the legal representative of the executed person actively contacted the court to express their willingness to fulfill their obligations, and transferred all the case funds to the court account. The Langya District Court promptly issued them, and all 61 workers' wages were fulfilled. The series of arbitration disputes between Wang and a Shanghai exhibition service company, as well as multiple legal documents such as the arbitration mediation agreement issued by the labor arbitration department, have come into effect. The debtor failed to fulfill their obligations, and Wang and seven other workers successively applied for enforcement to the Jinshan District People's Court in Shanghai. During the execution process, it was found that there was no property available for execution under the name of the executed party. The legal representative of the executed person, Mr. Zeng, has been missing and has repeatedly refused to answer court calls. The Jinshan District Court has taken punitive measures against him in accordance with the law, such as including him in the list of dishonest persons subject to enforcement and restricting high consumption. But the executed person still ignored and refused to perform. The Jinshan District Court has taken compulsory measures against Zeng, including a 15 day judicial detention and a fine of 1000 yuan. Under the deterrence of court enforcement measures, the company voluntarily paid all outstanding wages and fines. Based on Zeng's repentance, the court has released him from detention in advance. All 7 wage arbitration enforcement cases have been executed. The reporter learned that since 2025, the Supreme People's Court has guided local courts to strengthen enforcement supervision through cross execution for livelihood cases involving migrant workers' wages, labor disputes, etc., and has concluded a number of "bone cases" and long-term unresolved cases.
