On January 7th, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone successfully passed the joint acceptance of relevant departments, marking the addition of a high-level platform for Sichuan's opening up to the outside world, and the further improvement of open channels and functional layout. On that day, a joint acceptance team composed of the General Administration of Customs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration of Taxation, and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange listened to the report on the planning, construction, and pre acceptance of the Tianfu International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and conducted on-site inspections of the infrastructure and regulatory facilities in the zone. After deliberation and unanimous agreement, the acceptance was passed and a certificate of acceptance was issued. Relying on the location advantage close to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, Tianfu International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone will focus on the development of three leading industries, namely logistics and supply chain management, innovative services, and advanced manufacturing, to better serve the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" and the construction of the Chengdu Chongqing double city economic circle. Yan Yi, Deputy Director of Chengdu Shuangliu Airport Customs under Chengdu Customs, stated that they will rely on the construction of smart customs to explore the "integration of district and port" customs clearance supervision mode, focus on industrial functional positioning and the needs of settled enterprises, and continue to release the policy dividends of the comprehensive bonded zone. Data shows that from January to November 2025, the import and export value of comprehensive bonded zones in Sichuan Province reached 533.31 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3%, accounting for 57.08% of the total import and export value of the province during the same period. Since the 14th Five Year Plan, Sichuan has added 4 comprehensive bonded zones for customs clearance operations, and the open platform system and functions have been continuously optimized. In order to activate the innovation momentum of the comprehensive bonded zone industry, Chengdu Customs has actively supported the development of new formats such as bonded maintenance in recent years, promoting the inclusion of aviation bearings, projectors and other products in the comprehensive bonded zone maintenance product catalog. At the same time, it has innovatively implemented convenient supervision measures such as "same enterprise cross site" and "one line entry into the zone upon arrival", gradually forming replicable and promotable institutional innovation achievements.
