Recently, the plenary meeting of the Artificial Intelligence Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Standardization Committee") of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for the year 2025 and the "Standard Week" event were held in Beijing. The conference released a series of achievements such as the Global Artificial Intelligence Standard Library and the Global Artificial Intelligence Terminology Library, marking China's transition from "following" to "leading" in the field of artificial intelligence standardization, and actively building an open, collaborative, intelligent, and efficient new standardization ecosystem. Xie Shaofeng, Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, pointed out in his speech that the Standardization Committee should further clarify the new tasks under the new situation, drive technological progress through standards, accelerate intergenerational development of products, enhance the level of enterprise intelligence, and accelerate the establishment of industrial ecology. We must vigorously implement various work tasks and, in accordance with the overall requirements of "fast, excellent, and strong" standardization work, comprehensively promote the entire chain of work including standard pre research, project approval, formulation, release, publicity, implementation, and evaluation. We need to accelerate the construction of an advanced standard organization that leads technological innovation, regulates industrial development, serves the national situation, and has international influence, so that the achievements of standards can be transformed into a powerful driving force for the high-quality development of China's artificial intelligence industry. At the meeting, the Global Artificial Intelligence Standard Library and the Global Artificial Intelligence Terminology Library were first released as basic public service platforms. The standard library has systematically collected more than 220 approved standards related to artificial intelligence in China's national and industry standards, and extensively gathered more than 840 relevant project information from international standardization organizations such as ITU, ISO, IEC, IEEE, etc., achieving the integration of global mainstream artificial intelligence standard information into one library. The Global Artificial Intelligence Terminology Database is the first AI terminology database in China that includes published national standards, industry standards, and international standards. It gathers more than 1200 AI related terms, sorts out logical relationships such as initial release and citation, comprehensively displays the core connotation and scope of application of AI, constructs a unified, systematic, and standardized terminology system, and provides authoritative basis for standard writing. In addition, the first AI intelligent agent applied in the standard review process in China, the industry standard "Specific Intelligence Benchmark Testing Method for Key Basic Technologies of Artificial Intelligence", and the "Research Report on the Development of Artificial Intelligence Standardization (2025)" will be showcased in a concentrated manner. In response to the pain points of cross disciplinary and cross industry collaboration in artificial intelligence standards, the Standards Committee has jointly initiated the establishment of the "China Artificial Intelligence Standardization Organization Ecological Circle" with organizations such as the China Communications Standardization Association, the National Beacon Committee Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee, the China Light Industry Federation, and the China Nuclear Energy Industry Association, aiming to break down organizational barriers and promote collaborative docking between national standards, industry standards, and group standards.
