The National Supercomputing Internet Scientific Computing Agent was officially released in Tianjin a few days ago. This intelligent agent can automatically complete scientific research task problem decomposition, computing power resource scheduling, computing software calling, result analysis, and report generation through natural language interaction, shortening the traditional one-day work to about one hour. Currently, artificial intelligence is profoundly reshaping scientific research and engineering innovation models. With the deepening development of AI for Science, the demand for computing power in scientific research activities continues to grow, and higher requirements have been put forward for the organization, scheduling, and application of computing power. For this reason, the National Supercomputing Internet has continuously deepened the integration and innovation of computing power network and artificial intelligence, and upgraded the supercomputing Internet platform to a "super scientific intelligent brain" with a multi industry knowledge system. It is understood that the national supercomputing Internet scientific computing agent has covered nearly 100 high-frequency scientific research computing scenarios, covering and supporting three major disciplines and dozens of computing software, and relying on the supercomputing Internet artificial intelligence community "agent square" and knowledge base system, it has built more than 120 industry knowledge bases, covering seven application scenarios such as artificial intelligence, industrial simulation, and material science, greatly reducing the threshold for the use of scientific computing and improving scientific research efficiency. Qian Depei, an academician of the CAS Member and head of the overall expert group of supercomputing Internet, said that scientific research is at a critical stage of evolution from computing science to intelligent science. The emergence and development of scientific computing agents will help integrate decentralized computing power, tool chains and domain knowledge resources, and provide more efficient and inclusive innovation support for researchers. AI for Science is not only a technological path, but also a transformation in the way scientific research is organized. ”He said. Cao Zhennan, Deputy Director of the National High Performance Computer Engineering Technology Research Center, said that the combination of supercomputing intelligent agents and integrated computing power networks is expected to systematically improve research efficiency and innovation quality, providing sustained momentum for China to achieve original breakthroughs in key fields. At the same time, the national supercomputer Internet entity settled in Tianjin. Experts attending the meeting believe that this will help gather high-end innovation resources, strengthen Tianjin's important node function in the national integrated computing power network, and promote efficient allocation and intensive utilization of computing power resources. The National Supercomputing Internet and Tianjin Tiankai Development Group signed a cooperation agreement. The two sides will deepen cooperation around the integration of computing resources, the co construction of innovation platforms, and the cultivation of industrial ecology. As an important part of this event, the "AI for Science Tianjin in Action" experience model and development initiative have been officially released. Cui Zhenping, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Tianjin Science and Technology Bureau, introduced the "2511" model for promoting the innovative development of AI for Science in Tianjin - led by 2 platforms, supported by 5 modules, gathered by 1 resource pool, and nurtured by 1 billion level industrial cluster. The system constructs an innovative ecosystem of "shared computing power, shared algorithms, and co built ecology", which effectively supports the high-quality development of Tianjin's digital economy and injects new momentum into the construction of the Beijing (Beijing Tianjin Hebei) International Science and Technology Innovation Center. The National High Performance Computer Engineering Technology Research Center, the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Supercomputing Tianjin Center, Nankai University, Tianjin University, and Xinchuang Haihe Laboratory jointly issued the Tianjin initiative. The initiative calls for closely following the transformation of scientific research paradigms and the needs of industrial upgrading, breaking through technological bottlenecks through collaborative innovation, gathering development forces through open cooperation, promoting the healthy and orderly development of AI for Science, and contributing Tianjin's wisdom and strength to China's scientific and technological progress.
