The reporter learned today that the State Administration for Market Regulation, together with relevant departments, has revised and released the "Management Measures for Green Product Certification and Labeling" (hereinafter referred to as the "Management Measures"). This is the first comprehensive and unified standardization of green product certification activities in China, marking a significant shift from single label management to full chain supervision of certification for green products. The revised and released "Management Measures" are based on the principles of "unified product catalog, unified evaluation standards, unified certification rules, and unified product identification", focusing on the supervision of the entire process of green product certification activities, clarifying the hierarchical and classified management ideas of the system, and clearly defining the applicable scenarios of full certification and sub certification of green products. At the same time, the "Management Measures" provide detailed regulations on the implementation of certification, certificate management, use of identification, and supervision responsibilities, clarifying the main responsibilities of all relevant parties and providing clear guidance for related work. As of now, the green product certification catalog covers 122 products closely related to consumers, including electronic appliances, furniture, building materials, express packaging, textiles, etc. There are nearly 40000 valid certification certificates, involving more than 8000 certified enterprises.
